Jockey Club Innovation Tower is a new home for the School of Design of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Providing additional space to facilitate inter-disciplinary research and education in the field of design, the new Tower will serve as a driving force in the development of Hong Kong as a design hub in Asia. Embracing the building’s exceptional architectural profile, elevators and escalators are designed in synchronization to the theme and concept embedded in this iconic Tower.

Description

To meet the design and functional needs of the building, 7 elevators equipped with EcoDisc® that features synchronous permanent magnet motor of gearless drive are built. Dedicated to innovativeness, KONE elevator system has excellent ride comfort, eco-efficiency and visual design that deliver the best People Flow® experience. Dissolving the classic typology of the tower and the podium into a seamless leaning piece, the building becomes a perfect paradigm of coherent fluidity in architecture. Jockey Club Innovation Tower aims to stimulate a vision of possibilities for the future whilst reflecting the history of the institution. Featuring unique design and stylish finishes of lift car and lobbies, KONE elevator system manifests this extraordinary tower’s theme of innovativeness. All works including the feature decoration installation are professionally coordinated, executed, and managed, the project is well delivered exceeding expectations of the Client.
